Experience

I studied for a year with Plymouth University as a Person-Centred counsellor and then went on to study for a degree in Integrative Counselling for an additional three years with Worcester University at Iron Mill in Exeter.

I have worked within counselling charities and organisations offering a range of therapeutic approaches to adults for a range of issues including trauma, depression, low mood, low self-esteem, relationship issues, anxiety and addiction.

I have worked as a school counsellor with 11 to 16-year-olds. I have completed Stage One: Introduction to Counselling Young People (11–18 years) BACP Training Curriculum.

I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) to ensure my work meets the required standards. These standards cover training, supervision, continuing professional development and a contractual commitment to the BACP Ethical Framework.
